Jordan Attarat 2x235MW Oil Shale Power Plant Project

Jordan Attarat oil shale power plant project is located in Jordan, and the construction includes oil shale mine, 2×235MW oil shale power plant, etc. As original supplier, BASKA provides various types of grid couplings for belt conveyor, spreader machine, crusher and other equipment used in the project. The main integrating manufacturer are Flsmidth Trade (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Chengke Transmission Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd., and etc.

Ecuador Mirador Cooper Mine Project

Mirador Cooper Mine is located in Zamora-Chinchipe Province in Ecuador, and the main output is cooper ore with a 20 million tons per year. BASKA as original manufacturer, has cooperated with several integrating manufacturer partners, and provided a number of hydraulic grid couplings. The couplings are applied on spreader and belt conveyors, of which the largest motor power of drive end is 1400kW.

Guinea Boffa Bauxite Project

BASKA cooperated with Huadian Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., and supplied 20 sets of grid couplings products for Guinea Boffa bauxite belt conveyors, among which there is a long-distance and large inclination cross-country belt conveyor with a lift height of 20m, who has the highest belt speed, largest conveying volume, the most complex operating conditions and tension system and the longest conveying distance of opencast mine in China and Guinea.

Pakistan Thar Project

Mithi County near Thar desert, which is the largest coal mine found in Pakistan so far. The coal reserves are about 175 billion tons, and the low sulfur coal mine which is suitable for generating electricity. BASKA provides 13 sets of grid couplings for the Thar project, which are used in crushers and belt conveyors. The project’s general contractor is MMD Company, and the integrating manufacturer is Shanghai Keda Heavy Industry Group Co. Ltd. All products have been successfully delivered and put into operation.

Zijin Mining Tibet Julong Copper Mine Project

BASKA signed contract with Thyssenkrupp and Longking, and provided intelligent type hydraulic grid coupling, hydraulic quick dismount flange coupling. The largest product model is GJS1270, and installed on the downward belt conveyor whose maximum single power rate is 2800kW. The project is located in high altitude and cold area of Tibet, and the highest altitude of equipment layout is 5170m. BASKA products meet all the requirement of the project’s geographical location and environmental conditions, such as humidity, altitude, temperature, thawing, ultraviolet and other factors.

CNAMPGC Holding Laos Sylvite Mine Project

In 2022, BASKA participated in CNAMPGC holding Laos sylvite mine project, and provided grid couplings. The working conditions of sylvite mine is rough, with an extreme requirement for antirust. The products shall be qualified for strong corrosive environment.

Russian Projects

BASKA cooperated with Russian company for mining and agriculture industries, provided shaft couplings and backstops including NJ(DSN)530, 710, 1000, 2000, and various types of grid couplings. Among the products, NJ(DSN)2000 is the largest backstop BASKA has manufactured so far, and its Nominal backstop torque is 2000kN.m.
